This is such a vivid green variscite, and I couldn’t love it more in this sterling silver handcrafted ring design.

The sterling silver ring band is a two prong split shank band that has been given a hammered texture. This texture is also found on the backside of the setting, as well as the fine silver bezel surrounding the stone. The entire ring has been given a matte, satin finish that shines to perfection. If you would prefer that I give this ring a patina bath and light polish to bring out the texture highlights for my usual rusticated finish, please make your selection after you add your item to the cart - a form prompt will appear and you can choose which finish you prefer.

Variscite is a hydrated aluminum phosphate mineral that is often confused with Turquoise. It’s a rare stone that forms in varying shades of green. Variscite is mostly mined in several locations worldwide, particularly Utah and Nevada, being the primary sources of gem-quality material. Other locations include Brazil, Germany, and Australia.
