What an amazing turquoise this is … the shade of blue is spectacular. This handcrafted turquoise ring was inspired by Native American jewelry. Because I have always had a love for Native American culture, some of those design aspects tend to come through when I am designing jewelry.

This handmade Hubei turquoise sterling silver ring is amazing. The sterling silver ring band is a two prong split shank band and is fused with recycled sterling silver dust, giving it my favorite texture. This texture is also found on the backside of the setting, as well as the fine silver bezel surrounding the stone. The entire ring was given a patina bath and then brought to a shiny textured polish.

Hubei Turquoise is found in the Hubei region of China. Today, most of the turquoise produced in China comes from the Ma'anshan and Hubei mines. The Hubei province includes the Yungai (also known as Cloud Mountain) and the Zhuxi mines. Turquoise from the Hubei region sometimes obtains the brilliant blues long favored by turquoise enthusiasts.

Turquoise is a strong stone for spiritual attunement and is very effective to aid communication. Be sure to wear this turquoise ring when you need help speaking your truth.
