This handcrafted, Native American inspired pendant design features a beautiful pale green Desert Bloom Variscite gemstone. This amazing pendant was fabricated from sterling silver and textured by fusing recycled sterling silver dust on the back side. The fine silver bezel and the bail were also given the same texture. Additionally the hammered sterling silver extension chain, clasp and the cork cord end caps have all been hand fabricated. And finally, all of the handcrafted sterling silver components, in addition to the pendant, were given a patina bath, followed by a light polish to bring out the texture highlights for that rusticated finish I love.

This Desert Bloom Variscite sterling silver pendant is displayed on natural cork cord. The cork cord is an awesome substitute for leather cord. It looks and feels so much like the leather cord I have used in the past, but without the inhumane treatment of animals that is associated with leather products.

Desert Bloom Variscite is some of the most beautiful natural variscite on earth. This variety of American Variscite runs from a deep emerald green to a bright lime green. The material is semi translucent to opaque. This Nevada Variscite is known for it's deep lime green to lime green variscite with stark black spider web matrix with golden brown matrix. Desert Bloom is a deposit in the larger Vista Grande mining claim which features Desert Bloom, Emerald City, and Vista Grande Variscite.

Variscite is believed to help brain-related functions, improving intellect and logic, in addition to calming the brain by relieving stress and anxiety. According to metaphysical beliefs, variscite is known to enhance joy felt by the wearer.
