I have been hanging onto this Cobalto Calcite druzy for a while, always knowing that it would call to me when it was time. Needless to say, she finally spoke to me a couples months ago.

I was inspired to design a handcrafted crystal pendant in a way that it could be touched and felt in an open design setting. The cobalto Calcite druzy is held in place with sterling silver prongs. And in continuing to follow my own guidance, I hung the pendant from a sterling silver neck ring with a handcrafted 2” extension chain and clasp. Everything was given a hammered texture and a matte satin finish.

Cobalto calcite druzy is a rare and striking natural mineral featuring a glittering layer of micro-crystals (druzy) in vivid hues ranging from soft pastel pink to deep magenta. I actually have a few of the various pink colors of Cobalto Calcite. Cobalto Calcite is primarily sourced from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Morocco
