This is one of three Turquoise necklace designs featuring a beautiful Hubei Turquoise. I fabricated these pendants from sterling silver as simple pieces, for those who would go for a more modern and less rustic necklace design. The sterling silver pendants were given a hammered texture, as was the sterling silver extension chain and clasp. The entire necklace was finished in a matte satin finish

Hubei Turquoise is found in the Hubei region of China. Today, most of the turquoise produced in China comes from the Ma'anshan and Hubei mines. The Hubei province includes the Yungai (also known as Cloud Mountain) and the Zhuxi mines. Turquoise from the Hubei region sometimes obtains the brilliant blues long favored by turquoise enthusiasts.
