It's Been A While ...
Yes it has been a while, but multi-tasking life takes up most of my time. I’m still building my cabin - it’s ended up being a much longer project than I anticipated. And although I do the sanding and sealing of all wood in my cabin, I hire carpenters to handle the rest - I am NOT a carpenter. I build gemstone jewelry, not houses. And besides that, my only income comes from my jewelry design business, so I spend most of my time in my jewelry studio doing what I love.
So what’s going on with me, other than my cabin build? Well I have decided to change up my modern Southwestern design style for this 2025 holiday season. As much as I love turquoise, I am giving turquoise a bit of a break. Of course, customs are always available for those turquoise lovers, and I do have lots of turquoise. But as soon as I finish up a few in-progress designs, my focus will be natural crystals. I will be designing some new jewelry pieces using drusy crystals that I have been holding onto long enough - think Citrine, Ametrine, Cobalto Calcite and a few others. I plan to have these available for 2025 holiday shopping season, fingers crossed.
I do want to share my latest handcrafted jewelry design that allows a unique option for my hoop earrings. My sterling silver hoop earrings now have a charm option (I call them dangles). Currently I have one pair of charms available but I hope to have more available soon. The hoops can be worn with or without the charm, as the charms are removable. Currently the hoops are available in 1 1/2” + 2” sizes, but if you would like a different size hoop than the sizes listed, just let me know. Also, if you already own a pair of my sterling silver hoops, you can purchase the turquoise charms by themselves.
And finally, if you are planning on a custom design this 2025 holiday season or any special occasion, reach out to me early to beat the rush. Being able to take my time to design exactly what the client has in mind is such a beautiful experience for me and the client. Contact me and we can begin the process together.
