My Design Inspiration

I have always had a love for semi-precious gemstones, as well as fossils and rocks.  When designing handmade gemstone jewelry pieces, this passion is reflected in my designs. I am inspired by the natural minerals and fossils to create simple but expressive handcrafted jewelry designs.

Because natural gemstones and fossils can stand alone as a work of art, handcrafted gemstone jewelry has the ability to make a statement, no matter how simple the design.  I don't like to complicate my designs, as I don't want to take away from the natural beauty of the semi-precious gemstones and fossils. As an artist, using what is naturally beautiful is such a gift, and I enjoy using my creativity to showcase that beauty in the most simple way.

Gemstone jewelry by danielle is a collection of "one-of-a-kind" and a few "limited edition" handcrafted gemstone and fossil jewelry pieces using copper and silver. Because gemstones and fossils always vary in color and matrix, any of my handmade gemstone jewelry designs will be unique in some way.

Sugilite & Copper Bracelet

This sugilite gemstone, cradled in sterling silver, is set in this 16ga, handcrafted copper cuff bracelet. The sugilite gemstone is a great contrast of colors against the copper of this hand forged copper cuff bracelet.

I am offering two sizes for this hand forged, copper cuff bracelet: small(7-8") and large(8-9"), so measure your wrist and choose the best fit from the drop down box at checkout. Most women could wear the small copper cuff bracelet, but a large would definitely fit a man's wrist.

Copper jewelry is said to cure joint pain from conditions like arthritis. So wearing copper jewelry has health benefits also. I put a light coat of wax on each copper piece so as to help prevent any discoloration of the copper and/or the skin of the wearer.

Each piece of my handcrafted metal jewelry designs is stamped with my logo and my signature initials "DHR".
